Why it matters · Our view
A research campus of this scale can bring students, researchers, employers and new companies into Wynwood and the neighborhoods around it. It is worth watching how it shapes demand for housing, offices and retail nearby, keeping in mind that the campus, its timeline and any economic effects are plans, not certainties.
Still to be confirmed
Construction depends on regulatory approvals. Building designs, phasing and the exact site plan have not been finalized publicly.
