A $6 billion city within the city, downtown
Open since 2025; more phases rising
Ten city blocks of towers, shops, restaurants and hotels next to the Kaseya Center: one of the biggest private developments in Miami’s history.

The project
Ten blocks rebuilt from parking lots
Miami Worldcenter spans 27 acres and 10 city blocks in Park West, between the Freedom Tower area and the Kaseya Center. Developers CIM Group and Miami Worldcenter Associates opened the district officially in 2025, describing it as a $6 billion mixed-use development. Its own website calls it Florida’s largest open-air shopping and entertainment district.

Why it matters · Our view
Worldcenter turned one of downtown’s emptiest areas into a walkable neighborhood. Thousands of new homes plus shops and hotels change who lives downtown and what nearby buildings are worth, and the district keeps adding towers.
